Twitch is a video live-streaming service spun out of the old justin.tv a long time ago (wikipedia says 2007). I was an early viewer on justin.tv and then twitch and have been quietly lurking there for maybe 15 years. (I used to love putting video game streams on while I practiced different mixes and transitions).
I started streaming video games there myself in 2022 under the username andreaen, the name being a reference to "Andreaen Sand Dunes" by Drexciya. I like streaming, I find it helps me complete games (like each one is a new project). I'm not sure it'll be fun forever but it's something to do.
The entries on this website tagged "twitch" are typically toots (archived status updates from the fediverse / Mastodon platform) announcing streams on short notice. When I add those toots to this site I edit them to link to the VOD (and when the VOD expires I remove the link).
I don't have many viewers, and I don't think people come here to see what is mostly removed links to old now-expired VODs, but I want to keep those records anyway.
