I wish I were a better writer. Even something as short as a few paragraphs is a struggle. I suspect it's a lack of focus and a lack of practice. There's probably some bad habits I need to abandon, too.

E.Y.E.S. Of Mars, 1993, english dub, recorded off the Sci-Fi channel. I suspect this movie (OAV?) was made by or funded by a church. It's, ah, not very good, so I haven't been able to find much online about it.

Talking with a friend about a small weekday concert I might have gone to over a decade ago. Something at Rotture, I think [SIK] and Ignatius played. I swear if I start going out to shows regularly again I'll do blog posts or take notes or something, just so I'll remember the events.

And this one I bought as a white label from Larry McCormick's old electrowax web shop. I think I picked it up as an advanced copy even, so that had to be 2007. A pretty heavy record. Dutch producer, Florida label. Serious EMU SP series sampler abuse.

I first heard the B-side of this in Electrokid's classic mix "The Robot Within". I found a white label copy in a used bin at Anthem Records in I think 2008.

Was just putting together purchase links to go with the blog post about yesterday's MTT radio show and I'm happy to find that both "Terra" by E.V.A.C. and DJ Overdose's "The Beat" EP are up on bandcamp. Those two are important to me, so I'm glad they're more widely available now.

Well that was a cathartic set. Tough uptempo 808 driven electrobass is my favorite rowdy smashing-things music. I've felt like I needed to smash something for months.
