Zac Bertschy passed away a few days ago. He was executive editor of Anime News Network, a critic and fan, a compassionate human being. I've been reading his reviews and listening to his podcast for over a decade. I even spent some time with his bad movie club (CYS). I never knew him personally, but I learned a lot from him.

I'll miss him. RIP Zac Bertschy.

Intergalactic FM cancelled their physical festival this year so they're doing one online. It starts Thursday; the lineup is crazy. Cosmic Force, Legowelt, Orgue Electronique, TLR, the usual suspects.

Picked up 10 EPs on TRUST, two from J. Shaw, two from Lobster Theremin, two from Pyramid Transmissions, and two from Sci-fact, plus a few loose bits from Client_03, Ian o'Brien, and Subtle Audio.

The collector in me is very happy right now.

Released in 2000 on Narcotix Inc as NARC21. Vinyl, 12". Side A is some sweet electro, side B is crunchy weird downtempo / IDM. This one has been a secret weapon of mine for a long time.
