I'm glad I took the time to replay Chrono Cross recently. Really enjoyed it.

I had remembered the game as an annoying slog from the point of the dragon fights onward but that wasn't the case at all, it felt pretty smooth and easy this time.

I still like the battle system, the ties to Trigger, all the visual artwork & music, the fun characters (even if they're mostly underdeveloped). Coming to it now after having not played it in ~15 years I really appreciated how different or experimental it was/is compared to Trigger.

Also, very happy that my Cross discs still work.
