Still watching The X-Files, it's still keeping my mood up in this bad month. I'm in the middle of season 3 now. I had forgotten how good the episode "Pusher" is. I love Robert Wisden's performance as Modell/Pusher.

I started rewatching The X-Files a few days ago, skipping the episodes I don't like. It's a nostalgic show for me. I can remember watching it week to week as it aired. It's been good for my mood, my mental health.

Just now starting season 2. Duane Barry loves season 2.

Up at 1:30 AM, tea at 4:00 AM... I don't like it.

I spent the afternoon disassembling, cleaning, and reassembling my DJ mixer. Cleaned the potentiometers with what was probably the wrong kind of deoxit. That fixed the scratchiness, but introduced some other problems.

My mixer - an Ecler Nuo 4 - was really not meant to be taken apart.

Oof. I really need to clean the EQ pots on my DJ mixer.

Will do that in the morning, once the household wakes up.

Woah, it looks like Arrow Video is going to release Burst City (1982, dir. Sogo Ishii) on bluray next month. The last english subtitled release of the movie that I'm aware of is Discotek Media's DVD from 2006. It's been hard to get for a decade now.

It's a really good, though challenging, Japanese #cyberpunk movie. More punk than cyber.

Hmm, bluray region code B, sadly.
