// /Hah, and I just now realize that "Every Grain Of Sand" is the name of a Bob Dylan song. I don't know my Dylan at all.
That's what I get for not searching for names before applying them to things.

Mostly electro. A few recent purchases, a few old favorites.

462,600 in Strikers 1945 tonight. Made it about 1/3rd of the way into stage 6. Not my best, but fair.
My goal is to complete the first loop on one credit. The farthest I've made it is stage 7, out of I think 8 stages.

I've been re-reading Gibson's "Pattern Recognition". I like it much more the second time through.
I'm an obsessive consumer of niche media (music). My first time reading the book, I somehow missed that a large chunk of it is about exactly that. Cayce's consumption of, obsession with, the "footage".
I've got about 100 pages left. I don't remember how it ends.
An hour of techno & electro, messily mixed.

I mistyped "Cadigan". :(
One of my favorite authors. I've destroyed my copy of Synners.

Good book haul today.
"Mindplayers" by Pat Caidgan,
"The Song Is You" by Megan Abbott,
"Infomocracy" by Malka Older,
and "Pattern Recognition" by William Gibson
I spent way too much money.

I'm playing music at Ground Kontrol tonight with my friend DJ Megaphysics.
Breakbeats! Big beat, funky, new school, hip-hop, downtempo, whatever. We're being corny and doing breakbeats for spring break.
CEV & Megaphysics @ Ground Kontrol in Portland, Oregon 2018/03/28 9:00 PM PST until close. Free play party, $5 cover.

I'm seeing news on facebook (via reddit) that Cameron Paul died yesterday.
Cameron was a master DJ and tape editor / remixer. I know him (by reputation) as a famous west coast DJ, and as the owner of the Mixx-it DJ remix service.
Rest In Peace, man.

More music research (AKA shopping) today.
I found a label called "Recycled Plastics" yesterday. There's a lot of good dub techno and some wonky IDM on it. Worth a browse if you're into that.
"Zonmist" by Sint, "Static Mind" by Melotone, and "Viva La Lenteur" by Zzzzra are particularly good.
