Land Of The Rising Sound: A Roland Retrospective by Alex Ball

I picked up digital copies of the first three Sentry Records releases yesterday. Also Marz Attak / Rainy Dayz by Kromestar on Deep Medi.

Heavy stuff.

I'm suddenly in the mood for dubstep. Not sure what brought that on.

Upgraded to FreeBSD 12 today. Updating the base system was easy, as always. Then it took 10 hours to recompile my installed add-on software (ports).

I'm glad I don't have to do major version upgrades often.

My sleep schedule got messed up again. Friday became Saturday, and now Saturday has become Sunday. I don't like waking up at 8 PM.

Three or four hours spent selecting music, about 90 minutes spent practicing transitions, and now an hour to eat and give my ears a rest.

That feels like the right amount of time. Not rushed or too wasteful. Feels good.

Rewatching the Orson Welles movie "F For Fake" tonight.

This thing is beautiful. And twisty, and wonderful.

And I'm just now realizing I missed my chance to make a "Galaxy Toobin'" reference with the show title. Ah well.
