Now to get rid of my cold.

I've been sick all day (a cold, flirting with a fever). So I've been watching episodes of Liquid Television.

Love it. So wildly creative. It's somehow even more weird than I remember. And it's exactly what I needed right now.

The Internet Archive has all (or is it just most?) of Liquid Television.

I've seen Jimmy Page and Robert Plant live. In 1995, I think. Jones might have been with them; I'm not sure. They were on tour for the album "No Quarter", and I saw them at the Memorial Coliseum in Portland Oregon.

Changed my life.

I've been to a lot of concerts. Seen a lot of '70s and '80s rock, and a lot of '00s electronic acts. Nothing has topped the charisma of Page & Plant. Consummate perfomers.

Stairway.

Massive sleep debt. Watching the 2003 Led Zeppelin DVD. Drinking. I will be paying for this later. Tomorrow, most likely.

I'm DJing at Ground Kontrol in Portland tonight with my friend Megaphysics. 9 PM 'till closing.

We've been playing last Wednesdays there for three or four years now. If anybody from mastodon-land is ever there on the last Wednesday, say hello to the DJ(s).

I need to check his youtube account more often.

Spent the weekend sorting and cleaning my audio sample library. Next step is to build renoise instruments out of the useful bits.

Also have plans to multisample a bunch of buzz generators...

Late night tea.

Messed up my sleep schedule last night. Spent ~8 hours multisampling the Rout 808, an old generator (plugin) for Jeskola Buzz.

And there's still more work to do...

I think I'll pretend to work instead of going out tonight.

Had planned to attend a show tonight at the Bit House Saloon in SE Portland, say hello to a few old friends, but... it looks suspiciously like a house night.

Not a fan of the kind of house music played in PDX.
