Spacesettings by Headset is outstanding. A weird IDM / Hip-Hop / Jazz hybrid album... The closest comparison I can think of is Arrhythmia by Antipop Consortium. The whole album is as good as Breath Contrails.

I'm sad to say I treated Tides by Being (AKA The Wee DJs, AKA Dave Paton) pretty badly here. It's an amazing '90s IDM (or maybe Ambient?) album and deserves better than being filler between DPO and the goofy (but also awesome) Nights In White Satin cover by Porn Darstellar.

Last, I'll highlight Shadow Culture by Ghostwerk. Ghostwerk has been putting out awesome (and weird) tunes for about five years now; Shadow Culture marks his first release on a "major" label (in this case the excellent Detroit Underground). I've been waiting for this album for two years, and it doesn't disappoint.

Finally: shoutout to ellen_page. I also dream of future trackers.
