Logical Aggression @ Ground Kontrol / October 2018

Logical Aggression coincided with Ground Kontrol's Halloween party this year! Megaphysics and I have played the arcade on Halloween before, in 2012 I think. There were a lot of people this year, and a lot of good costumes. Was a great night all around.

DJ Dylan "GigaFright" Reiff opened the night (after troubleshooting some technical difficulties). Megaphysics took over after that, playing disco, new beat, and industrial from about 10 PM until midnight. Then I closed the night. Here's what I played:

MTT No. 087 / Claustrophobopolis

MTT087 Spectrogram

Post-punk, goth rock, *wave music. Guitars, drums; synthesizers, drum machines. Having some fun near the end of October.

This week's show is Not Safe For Work (NSFW) due to some profanity.

MTT No. 085 / Flying Over

MTT085 Spectrogram

This week: a mixture of Dutch electronic music (Bunker, Creme, Viewlexx) and bits of electro and synthpop. Less Dutch electronic than I expected to play, come to think of it.

MTT No. 083 / Armchair Tour

MTT083 Spectrogram

Downtempo, IDM, a bit of old demoscene, a bit of vaporwave. Chill-out music, mostly.

Unfortunately my internet connection dropped a little over halfway through this show. Robot DJ Kumata, aNONradio's mascot DJ, played J-Pop and soundtracks during this period - from roughly 34:48 to 41:32 in the recording.

MTT No. 079 / Step Outside

MTT079 Spectrogram

80 BPM stuff to end bass month. Dubstep (post-dubstep?), Juke, Miami Bass.
Right-click save-as here or on the spectrogram above to download the mix from aNONradio's archives.

MTT No. 078 / Sub Hazard

MTT078 Spectrogram (Edited)

This week: an hour of music from Paul Blackford's label Militant Science, with a few old Drum & Bass tunes thrown in for fun. This mix is Not Safe For Work (NSFW) due to a vocal sample in one track.
