Some familiar electro & IDM at around 120. Mostly older tracks, kind of a loose set.
This mix is no longer available for download from this website. It is however available at mixcloud.

Detroit Underground releases appear twice in this mix. First, track 2 Amsler Grid by Nullptr from their 2016 album Optical. Second, track 15 drt_895r (Corbin Davis Remix) by Chris Randall from his album Oscillator Breach, also from 2016. Both very good albums that I've played here and at the arcade a lot since their release.
Elektrolux also appears twice in this mix, first with track 9 Lovely Loop by Autopilot from their 2001 album World Receiver, then with track 11 Eniac's Revenge by Audiowerk from the 1999 Elektro.Codes Two compilation. I often return to Elektrolux and Mikrolux at the beginning of the year, I'm not sure why.
The Runout 05.03 to Volumes transition is a little weird, I don't think those two match rhythmically. But it seemed to work OK. Volumes / Another Moon by Minor Science is exceptional, one of my favorites from what I've heard of the AD 93 catalog. I'm surprised I hadn't played it for MTT yet.
It's been a stressful month. I didn't notice until this last week just how anxious I'd become. This selection isn't an expression of that stress though, it's more like a desire for something safe, familiar, something I know I like without thinking too hard.
Anyway, I'll be back next week with another mix, a slower set to close out the month. The usual time, Thursday evening Pacific.
